here goes a map of the subway system. Our house is 4 blocks away from the Greenpoint AV. station of the G line.
it also has buses that go both south and north, they intercept the L line in williamsburg and the E and V line in queens. same with the G line.

<p>there are bus maps for every borough that you can find in the same MTA web page. click on MAP and then on NYC TRANSIT.</p>
<p>our house is located in greenpoint which is primarily a polish neighborhood. although it has been changing in the last few years. there are lots of good grocery stores, supemarkets and vegetable/fruit stores. the is even a &#8220;organic&#8221; kind of supermarket called The Garden, very close to the Subway station.</p>
